My ceramics are a celebration of life and light through functional design and this ethos carries throughout my entire art practice.
Liana Tarantini Sculpture & Design is a small studio based in Toronto, where I produce a collection of beautifully unconventional ceramic artworks.
My line of double-walled functional ceramics plays with the weightlessness and durability of porcelain. The outer walls of these mugs and cups are carefully hand-carved with intricate patterns, allowing light to illuminate the inner chamber of each form.
Accompanied by my collection of unique kitchenware, I create hand-made ceramic sculptures, artful installations and customized home decor.
Whether it be a quiet moment with your favourite mug in hand or a beautiful sculpture chosen by you,
I believe that every piece of home decor is an expression of that unique person's life.
